The meaning of HKBDC T-shirt

The Hong Kong Bauhinias Deaf Club was founded on 16th January 1999.  It is the only non-profit organization in Hong Kong which serves the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender population who are hearing-impaired.  Specially designed T-shirts are out now to celebrate the ten years of the club's establishment.  On the front of the white T-shirt, you can find the new logo of the Club, which is a beautiful bauhinia flower.  Bauhinia is the floral emblem of Hong Kong.  The picture of the bauhinia flower is formed by combining the side faces of a man and a woman, symbolizing the unity of gay and lesbian.  At the back of the T-shirt you can find a six-colour rainbow.  The design of the T-shirt conveys a special meaning for us.

紫集T恤的意義

「紫荊聚集」是全港唯一專為男女聽障同志而設的非牟利組織，於1999年1月16日成立，已踏入第十年，特別設計白色T恤，前面上了本會全新的會徽，這是一朵美麗的洋紫荊。首先，它是香港的市花；而由側向男女像組合而成的洋紫荊圖案則代表著男女同志的合一精神，後面以六色彩虹，兩者配合特別的意義。對我們而言，其中包含著一股特別意義。感謝你對本會多年來熱烈的支持！敬請你們踴躍訂購！
