Hong Kong Sign Language Beginner Certificate Curriculum

Content:
Taking a step-by-step approach, it covers the words, phrases, grammar and usage of Hong Kong Sign Language, and communication skills with the deaf.  Teaching is vivid and lively, allowing participants to learn sign language in a relaxed manner.
Format::
Conducted in small groups, the course allows participants to understand the use of Hong Kong Sign Language, and ways to communicate with the hearing-impaired.  The modules are taught in circular fashion, so that students can always review what they have learnt with new information, allowing them to further understand the expression skills involved in sign language.  Participants will be given notes.   Vigorous activities will be used to enhance participants’ interest, allowing them to turn what they had learnt into good use.


手語初級證書課程

目  的：
(1)讓更多人士認識手語，增強與聽障人士的溝通。

(2)通過學習手語，增加對失聽人士之了解。

(3)消除與聽障人士的隔膜。內  容：由淺入深，認識香港手語之單字、詞語、文法及日常句法的使用和與聾人溝通技巧，內容生動、活潑，使您在快樂中學會生活化的手語。

形  式：以小組形式教授，使學員了解香港手語之功用及可以與聽障人士溝通。循環式教學，令學員可以溫故知新，使學員進一步了解手語之表達技巧。除有筆記作輔助外，更以不同之活動形式增加趣味性、活學活用。
